To those who blame the Temple gameplay for the economic collapse—listen up.

The in-game economy was already severely inflated within the first two weeks of the season, long before the Temple gameplay was even released. In reality, the Temple only gives casual players a chance to gaze at the back of farming teams from afar. If anything, farming teams have exploited the Temple to further exaggerate their dominance.
If you think the Temple is the cause of the economic meltdown, you are completely wrong. The real culprits behind the collapsed economy are the farming teams’ absurdly high loot rates and the Real-Money Trading (RMT) activities of certain players.

RMT is such a plague. I get why people do it, but it is still a form of cheating that has a negative effect on the overall game.

I wonder how they combat this?

Seems like it'd be very challenging and a lot of effort to police. I guess maybe that's why so many people get away with it.
There just isn't a big portion of the player base that wants to play POE in a group setting. Im one of them. Ive been playin arpgs since they came out and i'll play POE forever. I dont care to play it in a group setting.

I dont care if you make the loot multiplier 100000% i wont enjoy it and i'll feel forced to play in a party. I dont like doubling back to see what other people drop its slow, everything is slow. Its why they add quantity i think b/c its horribly slow. Most people want to get stronger and go faster and kill stuff quicker and quicker and do better builds that do harder stuff even quicker and quicker etc, group play is none of that.

If they wanted to actually have fun group play they should actually open up for some really cool support play instead of aura botting and standing there like a lazy turd that wants orbs.
