Fate of the League
|
Let me just say first, DRUID IS A BANGER and we need more of this EVERY EA PATCH. An absolute 10/10 addition to this game. TBH i’ll still check in from time to time during the next few weeks. I would say that at its peak, this was the best league in a decade.
Having said that, GGG; continuously gaslit by streamers and forum warriors, have relentlessly capitulated to unjustified demands, impractical feedback, and bad-faith critique. This league has been a back and forth, ping pong match between executives and players. Having been witnessed to discourse all throughout numerous communities deliberating “ethical farming”, GGG has YET AGAIN, been successfully miss-directed/distracted from issues which need attention the most. Meanwhile, we’re still falling through map surfaces in what is still nothing more than an over bloated, under developed, definitely outsourced in design, glorified lottery scratcher. aka, Temple. Temple, never needed the attention it was given amidst the peak of this league. It should have been treated as more of a bonus on top of the mapping which I would have hoped GGG would tune up a bit. (Pls GGG, these maps are from some other era…) The responses given to this mechanic have created more confusion, frustration, and are the sole fuel for every wave of inflation we have seen to date. I will add HOLTEN; which I never touched, was NEVER an issue and I will NEVER blame players for testing your product. It is in fact, GGG’s responsibility to ensure the stability of their ongoing, PREVIOUSLY FUNDED, service and not the responsibility of players. Whether or not EA, OR ON HOLIDAY. In addition, GGG is responsible for the exercise of standards, company policy, and TOS enforcement. AGIAN, not the responsibility of players. If for whatever reason these standards cannot be fulfilled due to time constraints, for example, it is GGG’s responsibility to ensure the AUTOMATION of their policies and standards previously/currently in practice. GGG please understand that for better or worse, every switch you throw has consequences and sets new precedents/standards with each and every alphabetical patch. I am afraid your vision for POE2 and its future rests in the palms of the farming community now (surely I’m wrong about this) Regardless of any of this, I have been very critical of this product since .1.1 (or something). But today I do still wish to CONGRATULATE this team for their INCREDIBLE work in .4… For the first time in POE2, I am confident in saying a “step in the right direction” without sarcastically implying “two steps back”. So GGG, Thank You & Keep at it PS, will see you all in .5: The Dark Pattern… Last bumped on Jan 14, 2026, 9:13:58 AM
