Charge generation/consumption is frustrating

Some skills really shine when they have charges available, but seem/sound/feel lackluster when not spending charges to empower them
Lightning spear is amazing when you spend a frenzy charge, it chains to a lot of enemies and feels really powerful. But without charges, you can barely kill more than 4 enemies. Explosive spear has an amazing effect when frenzy charged. It not only deals more damage, but has a better AoE and quality of life of not having to wait for it to explode. The same with glacial lance. Those skills really need a frenzy charge on every attack to feel worth using, but there aren't systems to sustain them realiably, while when you DO have a charge, missing an attack feels like a major waste because of losing a charge and having to generate it again. Plus, you're always counting on the back of your head how many charges you have left, which is anxiety inducing. please, consider creating an item/support gem/spirit gem that gives the following effect: Skills cannot consume charges Skills always counts as consuming a charge if you have at least 1 frenzy, power and endurance charge This way, skills that benefit from consuming multiple charges would still want to generate those charges (falling thunder, flicker strike, barrage, etc), but skills that need 1 consistent charge to shine would benefit from this effect Last bumped on Jan 12, 2026, 9:57:30 PM
