Doryani's Elite needs a nerf...

Okay the guys that insta-kill with Lightning charged cannon that does a lot of initial damage on impact, and charged ray of lightning that nearly kill you when you have:

1. Full Health & Energy shield
-HP=2202
-ES=2310 (Total of 4512)

2. Armour & Elemental dmg applied as armour
-Armour 13.5k(79%) est. Elemental 14.5k(80%)

3.Lightning Resistance is capped at 77%

4. Map Modifiers:
-Lvl 80 (T15 - Irridated)
-Sometimes a node of elemental weakness (maybe I had one on, but idk)
-No Revives (Why I'm so mad :/ Just kidding)

5. Damage recoup to life is 43%

With all of that being said, how am I supposed to prepare myself for an insta-kill shot (Especially if there are map mods for dmg & additional projectiles) with a very decent build. It seems very unbalanced. The Vaal guys who throw the grenades can get nerf too please, but they're not so bad.

I agree that they are doing alot of damage and probably more than most right now, but also ur defensive stats are very weak against that kind of damage. Additionally they have a very long windup phase, so if u're watching out for them u can avoid the damage.

I assume it's 100% lightning damage and since u got one shot, the end damage must have been at least around 5k. I'm calculating with 75% lightning res, because it's easier to illustrate.

The initial hit would be about 20k, which means in order for ur armour to have any effect, u'd need at least 200k elemental armour, not 14,5k. (that's only a rough estimate, but u get the drill)

In essence, u only have 77% lightning res with a health pool of 4,5k. That's simply not enough for 6mod endgame. The recoup doesn't do anything against one shots aswell.

PS: Ignore the % from armour completely, they don't say anything at all in PoE.
