Game D/C - Lost progress

The game disconnected me just as the boss was animating into the start of the battle, of Grim Haven map. When I logged in again i lost the tablets charge, the map was closed and I lost my progress including 32 breach shards I had farmed!

This is happening to me on any map now! Its really annoying, I tried to portal to hideout, it said teleporting to hideout but nothing happened. When I re opened the portal and tried to go again it disconnected me, I lost all my items from that map and the waystone!

yeah what is happening, is this because of the private league?
is there any point playing if I'm gonna lose progress?
