Major Issues During Console Version Gameplay

I'm not sure if the PC version has this issue, but on the Xbox version, after playing for a short while, the game's graphics render at a very low resolution. Because of this, my experience with the game is far from enjoyable. How can such a serious problem remain unresolved for an entire month?
