The #1 trick to making a good game was "removing the bad" according to Jonathan

- Remove Closed Halani Gate zone
- Remove Path of Mourning
- Remove Venom Crypt
- Remove majority of Halls of the Dead
- Remove anything you see racers try to skip

Notable mentions regarding last one:
- Grim Tangle Una nonsense
- Cemetary boss dialogue
- Act boss dialogue (drop loot immediately and give credit upon manual TP).

Gameplay-padding actively make the game worse. Please refrain from doing so.

At least remove all "cutscene" dialogues and trasitions from map bosses copied from campaign.

No offense to Jonathan, but I'm convinced he doesn't know how to make a good game.

Removing a lot of stuff could make this game better though.

Why they still refuse to do this after so many years I don't know. It's like the gamma slider. At least we have it in PoE 2, but cutscene skip is still unachievable. In PoE 3 perhaps?
