Chaos Trial bosses do clean one shots

Bosses in chaos trial do legit oneshots with normal attacks, not the once with wind-up.
I have Veil of the Night with Brass Dome and 16k armour. I cannot get crit, I have 82% against phys, 84% against ele and max chaos res, leading to 6k phys hp and 6.3k ele hp 16k chaos hp. There is no armour shred on me.

How in the world can I be a oneshot?

16k armour is nothink man) Because how armour formula work( the harder the hit you take the less armour damage reduction is be). Plus you have 0 resistance with Veil of the Night(there is a reason why this item dont used even in Bloodmages builds).Cos monsters and especialy bosses in this game(with some map and location mods) starting to deal HUGE amount of elemental dmg so 0 resistence mean you are dead man walking even with 8k life!. And if you need to armour realy work you need to hard invest in this.Im the fun of warrior and melee builds myself and from my exp i say this,armour become realy way to make afk semi-immortal char if you need but you must have min 50k-80k armour for phys damage and double that for ele dmg to realy reduce damage in endgame.And ideal be to have some phys dmg taken convertion to other types.

P.S.Dmg in Trial of Chaos is nothink to compare with damn rare monster from Vaal temple with 800% rare monster effectivenss) and some 5-6 mods on them)

Ok, but what is the point of the armour to ele dmg stat then, if it does not apply? Is the 84% dmg reduction against ele dmg just for fun n giggles?
