Yep, they can optimize their game and actually release a stable patch, its not due to ISP's or shitty servers, It's shitty optimization on GGG's part
This was not a major issue prior to 0.4, now its faced all across the board by a vast majority of players...

So yes, GGG can fix it, instead they rush out updates, Split between 2 games, Giving them a month and a half to work on 1 game, and month and a half for other, Unless they've divided their team between both, which means even less work is able to be done on both!!!!!

Do you understand what latency is? It is your data travelling over the internet. Much of it depends on your location and the infrastructure your data travels through to get to the servers and back to your PC. "Spikes" are typically waiting or receiving packets that have taken a longer route around the interweb (which includes outer space satellites and around-the-world paths). Latency is not caused by the game servers, but they have some strategies to manage it.

Yes! It's been awful on Frankfurt EU ever since game launch and it hasn't gotten much better.

I've tried everything, nothing has worked. I'm starting to lose my patience.

so far, the only thing that works for latency spikes is using Exitlag.

but using Exitlag cost money.

if anyone else has a better solution that is free of charge, please share and let us know. tks.

Bro its their servers, this was never here prior to 0.4, look at all the damn threads stating this

Its GGG's poor optimization, so yes, they can fix it

Exitlag has done nothing, and infact makes it worse for me, think about it, your data travels from your location to the server location
Exitlag adds even more routing, Your location - Exitlag routes - GGG servers

So in most cases it takes more time for your data to travel using exitlag, legit only helps EU players, does not fix a thing for me, using hotspot was working untill spikes came back

Funny how I can play the game with no problems during non peak hours then suddenly a lag spike every 10-20 secs once people start getting on, 10/10
