New notable that changes the way spectres work
|
When I first saw the disciple ascendancy I was ecstatic to see a new kind of summoner gameplay. Then I started thinking, why limit that to an ascendancy?
I give you the “Spectral Pledge” notable. Spectres reserve no spirit. Total spirit is halved. “I do not bend them to my will. They serve of their own volition.” This completely changes the way summon spectres work. Instead of summoning minions to fight for you, it projects their attacks/moves as a lingering apparition. Think Ender Lillies if you’ve ever played that. Spectres will grant new moves. Some offensive, some defensive, and others utility. A skeletal soldier will grant an attack chain that can be used in substitution of basic attack. The eternal knight will grant you its reflective projectile shield. Costing mana each time a projectile is reflected. A rhoa would charge forth, knocking enemies to the side and clearing an escape route for you. A quadrilla would allow you to leap slam with it and navigate over terrain. Something along those lines… Last bumped on Jan 6, 2026, 6:17:47 PM
