Dead after having finished the Trial of Time

I finished the Trial of Time for the first time (I have tried sooo many times just to get past the first three trials) but after having downed the boss my honor all of a sudden went from full to zero and my character was face down. Health was full, no damage at all. I couldn't move, no portal appeared, no respawn. The character was just there, all the loot displayed, and "trial completed" on the right. Wth happened?

Great game otherwise, waaay to addictive!
