Persistent desync after equipping headhunter belt (solved)

Edit: I found out that it isn't desync at all but an affix given by an elite called "shroud walker" or something similar in case anyone is confused by the same thing and ends up here. It causes you to teleport towards enemies.

This might qualify as a known performance issue, but I did not really experience much desync until being fortunate enough to equip a headhunter belt for the first time.

It is pretty persistent, and I haven't found a great solution yet. Online suggestions seem to be limited to PoE1 when we could enable lockstep.

I have checked my internet connection/speed, and it seems to be stable.

If anyone has any advice on what I could do on my end, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!
