Temple Sometimes Closes When Using Portal Out, Sometimes Stays Open? Bug?

This is getting so frustrating. When and why does the temple close When trying to drop off loot? Can we just get a stash INSIDE the temple if this is going to be a problem?

In a party yes, but we've been able to portal out no problems before
