Can't rejoin twisted domain after dying

So I tried recording my fight with tier 2 Xesht, and the game decided to hide my cursor (such fun). Since I had no way of knowing where I was aiming and panicked to try and fix it I died. I restarted the game and now I can't rejoin the instance because I died. What is the point of having 3 portals if they are unusable after you die?

It's not that common, but it definitely is irritating to have issues like this. For example, a friend lost their main weapon because when they put it in a facility in the temple they crashed and when they came back it was gone.

They really need some form of extra protection against stuff like this.
