Can someone explain what this latest hotfix did?

I never made my own snake chain since I quit due to the economy. I saw the medallion change a few days ago pissed everyone off. Now they seem to have reverted that? What does that do to the chains? Make them unbreakable again? Is the temple still nerfed?

It makes it possible to build snakes again. After 14 and before 15, if you were building a snake and the last room in your snake wasn't tier 3, you couldn't lock it. So you always ran the risk of losing some of your snake each time. Or you'd have to get lucky to add a room that could immediately be tier 3.

Now you can build your snake up normally again. As your new tier 1 room to the end, and lock it to protect the rest of the snake.
