Question regarding Legacy MTX compatibility from a returning supporter

Hello Exiles and GGG Team,
I’m a returning player coming back after a 3-year break specifically for Path of Exile 2. I have always been a big fan of the franchise and have supported the game over the years by purchasing several Supporter Packs and accumulating a large collection of MTX. One of the main selling points for me was the promise of shared microtransactions between PoE1 and PoE2. However, upon logging into PoE2, I noticed that unfortunately, about 95% of my MTX collection seems to be unavailable or incompatible. Could anyone clarify if there is a roadmap for porting these older skins to the new character rigs? Or, strictly for the items that cannot be ported, will there be any form of compensation or bonus for legacy supporters? I’m loving the new game but feel a bit disheartened seeing my years of support not reflecting in my current inventory. Thank you for your hard work! Last bumped on Jan 5, 2026, 3:48:39 PM

Hi there! As mentioned in our FAQ here:
"Will my Path of Exile 1 microtransactions work in Early Access? Yes, but not all microtransactions are available to use yet. Many recent MTXs and all stash tabs will be initially available, but due to a massive amount of microtransactions in Path of Exile 1, we’re still in the process of adding them all to Path of Exile 2, so many of them will be marked as ‘unavailable’ in your cosmetics tab. During Early Access we will be working through the backlog and making them all available." We recommend keeping an eye on the Forums here for any news related to the Path of Exile 2 Early Access. |
