POE2 - Gear requirement “loop” when item provides the missing attribute

Hi, I’m not sure if this is intended, but I’m running into a frustrating issue with attribute requirements on gear.

Example: a helmet requires 86 Intelligence, and the helmet itself grants +36 Intelligence.
If I remove the helmet, my Intelligence drops below 86, so I can’t equip the helmet again. The only workaround is to refund passive points (moving points from Strength/Dexterity into Intelligence) just to meet the requirement and re-equip it.

In my opinion, attributes granted by an item should be able to satisfy that item’s own requirement (or there should be some safeguard to prevent getting locked out of re-equipping your gear).

You can temporally equip another gear (e.g. rings or an amulet) with "+X to intelligence", then put the helmet on.
Why is this still an issue? This should of been fixed a long time ago.
