PoE 2 Is Losing Its Value Due to Rampant Botting and Lack of Enforcement
|
I am honestly fed up with Path of Exile 2.
Every season, the game is increasingly overrun by players using bots and third-party tools. These automated accounts farm massive amounts of currency, flood the economy, and completely destroy the value of legitimate gameplay. What makes this even more frustrating is that reports are consistently ignored. I have personally submitted detailed and accurate evidence, including clear proof of botting behavior, yet no meaningful action has been taken. Sending private emails or reports leads to the same result — silence. At this point, bot users are everywhere in the game. The economy no longer reflects effort or skill, and the core value of the game has been severely damaged. Because of this ongoing inaction, I — along with many other legitimate players — no longer see any reason to continue participating in a system that openly tolerates cheating. If this situation does not change, PoE 2 will continue to lose the trust and support of its honest player base. Last bumped on Jan 4, 2026, 4:19:37 PM

You can pretend all you want that this should be a major concern during EA.
They're better off learning all the botters' behavior and banning right before 1.0. FYI, botting is never going away. It's a never ending back-and-forth. I'm surprised you haven't learned this yet. Last edited by Immoteph#2974 on Jan 4, 2026, 4:04:27 PM

I am sure they will fix that after EA. I mean after early 2067s.
