My recap so far. Not going good.

I am an old poe 1 player, 10 years of service, and i have to say that some things aint going as well as hoped. Lets sart with the basics. Why so many bosses do need to have phases in maps since you cant fix the buggs. I found my self dying so many times to an already dead boss (i mean from mechanics not from poison on ground), or to a boss who has 0 Hp but is bugged and doesnt swap phases. You wanted to make the harder maps more punishable by lowering the portals, yet still people die to mechanins of a dead boss. Besides that focusing more to the league thats running. I always played trade leagues so i can create or copy many builds during league time to test and have fun with different skills, classes and so on. The way you have allowed the economy to fail is stunning, even tho you control it throuth the npc...The only explanation that i can give is that you secretly make money from the abusive streamers or the "illegal" sites that sell currency for real money. You have allowed all kind of bots banning no suspicious activities...To top that you went and made almost impossible for casual players to build up a temple properly. You massacred your own league mechanic. Maping is the worst mostly for reasons i previously mentioned but also for not being able to reuse tablets on failed maps, retring a failed unique boss map (citadel exp.). Fix your drop rates, punish the exploiters and cheaters, empyrian for example, instead of destroying game mechanics so that they stop. I feel there is no salvation but its still early access so maybe you will do sth...Since then i fill like im wasting time

You're spot on on everything you just said my brother!

They 100% make money out of the "illegal" sellers... otherwise they'd have shut them down... instead of that the sellers even advertise themselves on Youtube without any issues...


Also, the game ACTIVELY tries to funnel you to the sellers by refusing to give you any actually usable loot... so you end up "working" instead of playing a game... you go around to get currency to buy stuff... that's NOT a video game, that's a 9 to 5 job and I've already got one of those...

Finally the game goes out of it's way to become tedious, force you to die in ways you can't avoid to tell you "you're not good enough" and keep you playing... that's NOT the way to get player retention... you keep players by making the gameplay fun, not tedious... otherwise the ones you'll keep are the bots that are so addicted to mindlessly grinding that they're psychopaths at this point...


I've been playing looter games my whole life... why? Cause getting a great drop is the most exciting thing in gaming... in PoE2 I have gotten exactly ZERO great drops in the time I played... ZERO!!! The game just tells me to go to the grocery store to buy stuff (online trading website) and if I'm not rich enough, it tells me to use my wallet and take a loan to go to the "illegal" online sellers...


And btw, I'm an SSF player... if a game is unplayable in SSF (and PoE2 is 100% unplayable in SSF), which means that you essentially can't beat the game by simply PLAYING IT, then the game is just bad and the devs aren't good enough to make a playable and enjoyable experience...

But the Youtubers keep praising it, so the game must be good, right? You know... the guys that get PAID to play games...

WTF are you talking about? There are countless SSF players me included who are fine. You just can't count on min-maxed and/or unique dependant builds as you don't know if you obtain required items.
