Before I begin, I ask for the same respect given to any other community. Do not silence this post simply because it challenges you. Discrimination against my voice will be noted.

This is the first time in all my years of playing Path of Exile that I have ever written a post on the official forums.
I am not a keyboard warrior. I don't participate in internet drama. Like thousands of others, I just play the game. We are the quiet ones. We are the ones who usually just grind and enjoy the world you created.

But this update has forced us to speak.

Look at the feedback thread. Look at the surge of posts on pages 13, 14, and beyond.
These are not trolls. These are your CORE players.
These are the people who actually play your game, who understand its mechanics deeply, and who have supported you for years.

There is a narrative going around that "Developers shouldn't listen to the mob" or that you need to maintain your "Independent Vision."
That is absolute nonsense.
Do not confuse your Arrogance with "Independent Game Design." Ignoring the outcry of your most dedicated players is not a badge of honor; it is just pride.

Let us be honest with history. GGG is not infallible.

We need to stop pretending that every decision GGG makes is pure gold.
Since version 0.1, we have seen countless bad decisions and failed mechanics. Everyone here knows this. We have all lived through it.
Blindly defending the developers does not help the game; it only feeds the arrogance that leads to updates like this one. GGG ignores legitimate player demands because they think they are untouchable.

To those who are staying silent because "it doesn't affect my build":

There is a wise saying that serves as a warning for all of us:

"First they came for the Harvest crafters, and I did not speak out—because I was not a crafter.
Then they came for the Magic Finders, and I did not speak out—because I was not a MF player.
Then they came for the Temple Builders, and I did not speak out—because I did not run Temples.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

Do not think you are safe.
If we do not stand up against this arrogance now, your favorite mechanic will be next.
We must unite and voice our objections. Silence is consent to their mistakes.

All of you people copied a streamer or 3rd party website can we stop pretending you put any amount of thought into figuring out this mechanic. The only "work" was grinding. Not actual experimenting.

I think you're probably right. And the OP talking on behalf of the "silent majority" is a bit much, given how many people are still playing in the league.

Even with all that, GGG has a problem.

either way, written or Ai, what ever. somme points makes sense in my 600 hours experience here.
