Nice changes overall. My thoughts after 2k hours.

Temple has been great for me and overall I like the changes. The grind is much better with the temple being balanced and not over tuned like it was. I have played mainly ssf the entire league and have felt that since the changes started coming in the sense of progression has been much better.
The temple still gives good loot and exp once you invest in the mechanic, so if anyone tells you it's not worth it please look for yourself. It still is the best mechanic in the league profit wise and more than worth the time you put into it. You get numerous divs and other currencies, etc. each run. No issue for me at all and I don't have a "juiced" temple. I feel, if anything, it could still be tuned down even more before the next league, as it still will be a bit strong until there are more currency sinks. I do understand some people's frustration with there being no wipe for temples that already existed, as it does seem like a bit of an unfair advantage. If there was one thing I could see done to make people a bit happier it would be something along those lines, but the temple as it sits feels pretty good. Those are my thoughts on the league itself, but I am also very happy with the state of the game overall and just enjoying it more now than I prob have since EA launched. Mapping, running temples, and splinters all feel good to run. Campaign also feels really great and of course Act 4 is prob the best act I've played in an Arpg. It's just all starting to flow together nicely now. With a bit of endgame content and adding in the rest of the classes/bases/skills, I think it's starting to have the potential to take over for PoE as my main focus. I've played PoE for over 10 years, but right now this just feels better Really appreciate the work and looking forward to 0.5. Have a great 2026! Last bumped on Jan 3, 2026, 3:22:34 PM
