Broken Promises

If you want to change your stance on "not nerfing mid league", then do so clearly before doing something like 0.4.0c Hotfix 13.
Stop finding unique and quirky interactions in builds, feature them on your youtube and then nuke them afterwards. (Because your selling point is depth and diversity and player freedom) As a player it genuienly feels like we need to be careful not to have fun with any aspect of your game otherwise its gonna get hammered. This is not the way GGG. You did a lot right this league. The class diversity was fixed, the new toys were fun, the endgame was way nicer to engage with, abyss was integrated into core beautifully and performance was a lot better for me. Longest retention I had on any of the leagues thus far. And then you cut me out. Big sad. And a loss of trust in your design philosophy. And btw if you clearly switch to a model of "Early access so we will nerf and change mid league a ton to learn" then thats fine with me. If you clearly communicate that and I expect it then fine. But you promised otherwise. Last bumped on Jan 3, 2026, 1:40:32 PM

Agreed, this lacks any real consistency or design philosophy. There was so much chaos and confusion around this vaal temple mechanic from the word go. Then instead of really doing anything about that part they just buff it. Then see they over buffed it and not only nerf it, but take a chunk out of the middle ladder and prevent players from creating the same temples we had going. Essentially changing the entire gameplay mechanic. And to top it off they've been pretty silent on the whole situation with the expectation of trying to fix their first "fix".
For now at least I wont be purchasing anything else from the store until they can get their shit together. And if it keeps going Ill find something else to do with my time. |
