The Atziri's Temple patch was a mistake.

What kind of game are you guys even trying to make? You let those who already finished their temples keep them, while making it impossible for new players to complete theirs. Do you really think this is fair?

Use some common sense. Some players get to profit from the system while others are locked out? Is this really the direction you want for your game development?

The game's economy is already irreversible anyway. So what should be done? The correct approach would be ensuring equal access to the Temple content for all players, not gatekeeping it. If you really intended to fix this, the time for that was 0.5.0. You missed the boat, and now you’re just burning your bridge with the community.

While the 0.4.0 economy may be a failure, maintaining equity is non-negotiable. Your patches are artificially widening the wealth gap. If latecomers are given the opportunity, they can strive to catch up, which naturally leads to the extended play time you desire. Instead, you chose a lazy, rushed fix instead of a thoughtful solution. Wake up and look at what you’re doing to this game.
