Headphone audio no longer works since 0.4c

Since the 0.4c patch, I can no longer get audio through headphones in PoE2.
Before this, switching between headphones and speakers worked flawlessly since early access (I’ve been playing since 0.1).

Now PoE2 only outputs sound to my speakers. Headphones do not work at all in-game.

I’ve tried switching audio devices, restarting, removing and re-adding devices, and testing multiple different headphones. The issue only occurs in PoE2, all other applications and system audio work correctly with headphones.

Not sure if this is directly caused by the 0.4c patch or coincidental, but the problem started immediately after that update.

Actually im having the same issue on 19 january 2026, no problem since 3/4 days on the game, always switched from headphones to speakers to headphones when needed.

But today i have no idea how to fix it, cant play with my friend because no sound in my headset...

Damn the game was just mute in windows settings, i dont remember did it by myself but ok... maybe my bad. All good.
