What's up with the lack of checkpoints in Vaal Temple?

You guys used to love spamming them all around the maps, what changed?
Vaal Temple should have one per room, easiest QoL fix ever

I think a huge issue overall is the game just drops way too much junk loot, combined with the inventory being so damn tiny compared to other similar games. You potentially port back like every 5 mins if you actually pick up things.

the first few levelling character 1 was ok, fun, not many rooms.

i dread the walking mouse effort IRL vs reward v quickly into char 1 lvl 30-40+,
now onto char 2 alt - nah, skipped 50% of the "completed rooms" metric ... week 5.
