Solo game or online game make your mind !!

So if party members depend on a damn leech to survive and there are no monsters to kill, it’s basically a death sentence for the party. You can’t get any extra loot unless the party moves together.
There are so many downsides that end up killing players, and the difficulty scaling for party play is one of the worst in the game. Seriously, put some time into fixing party gameplay. All we are asking: Each player should get their own separate loot pool to reduce the amount of drops and help with FPS drops and CPU issues. Players should not be required to stay close to each other to get loot, or monsters should scale less aggressively in parties so leech-dependent players don’t just get wiped. Improve party gameplay in the campaign, because it’s the worst part—boss HP is insanely high. Fix the issue where one player is using a freezing build while others use shock or ignite. No one in the party can apply ailments to the boss, and it takes forever unless everyone is running a freezing build. A way to indicate player abilities separately from monster attacks would help—perhaps highlighting player attacks with a green color to distinguish them from other attacks. If we can disable other players’ abilities and MTX for performance reasons, this would be good. Last bumped on Apr 27, 2026, 10:10:41 AM

I bounce between solo and online play depending on my mood, so I mostly want the game to support both without forcing one path. When I want something lighter between leagues, I mess around with quick browser games on Plix.gg, which scratches the itch without needing long sessions. Having that contrast actually makes me appreciate PoE’s depth while still taking breaks.

" " Sounds first okish, but at the other hand also bad, cause how does the loot boost affect the loot then? " I get the feeling you contradicting yourself here a bit, at one hand you want to be able to roam by yourself, which gives you the possibility to leech at all times and at the other hand you want to stay close, were you don't have to deal damage if the other party member just is far more powerful and so give you no opportunity to deal damage? " Boss HP is higher but you also should deal twice as much damage, since you are playing in a party of two. with more people you should also have more damage. Therefore... someone in your party seems to not dealing appropriate damage. " Ignite does not hinder, shock and freeze does not hinder igniting enemies. The abilities you guys use are just prolly not that great to apply said ailments. " Abilities would be problematic I think, cause you also wouldn't see why something dies or if something is flying to the monster you want to attack. I would but fully support the possibility to deactivate player MTX in grps. Dunno for me party play in this game is far more favourable as in other games, alone cause you can rez people in boss fights without the need of redo the whole fight. In addition more loot, better gearing, easier monsters since you can split the amount of monsters to 2 aggro bases or split the danger in half. Bosses often get confused on who to attack in general and therefore you don't have to dodge all of it by yourself. The only real problem I have with Group play is "Body Blocking". If they stay together or cross their paths and you dodge stuff you very often block each others movement and so lead to a death. And since many bosses only have very small arenas that is very common, especially if the best position to deal with bosses are up close. Last edited by Ondrugs#1147 on Apr 27, 2026, 10:11:46 AM
