Magma Barrier

I haven't played the game for about a week or so, didn't have any drive when I saw yet again how easy and boring the whole gameplay is.
Today I felt a bit giddy to try some build ideas... the only thing that is actually mildly fun in this game... I was thinking of parry since almost nobody tries it but then I remembered it's not really a parry... it's just a glorified block... and then I thought about magma barrier which used to have this very specific timing window to trigger.... though it was clunky with the small cooldown it had.. I thought maybe they might have made that better since last time I've tried it in 0.1 or 0.2. What I didn't know was that it was changed in 3.0 to no longer work like that at all... instead made into an extremely boring recharge ability. No timing, no nothing. The only thing that somewhat resembled an actual parry - removed. I felt so incredibly disappointed that I quit the game the instant I saw that. It's not the first time I see a change in that direction either. I don't think I have any hope left for this game to actually become a more challenging and fun experience moving forward. Old Magma Barrier was strong but required high budget for that. It could actually be used to do good damage but it was really slow and required that timing with block.

The old magma barrier gameplay was signicantly more fun than what we have now.
