Hexblast Problem

Good afternoon.
I’d like to draw the developers’ and the community’s attention to Hexblast and Chaos spells in general: they still offer nowhere near the gameplay variety that elemental skills do and effectively have zero build diversity.
After the change that forces Hexblast to wait until a curse is halfway through its duration before it can explode, the skill has simply stopped functioning as a viable main skill.
According to poe.ninja, Hexblast usage dropped from 0.3 % in 3.3x to 0.1 % in 3.4x. Among all chaos-tagged nukes it is literally the only one, yet it cannot compete with element-based counterparts such as Comet, God’s Hammer, Plasma Blast or Sky Serpent’s Wrath—skills that deal comparable damage while also enabling creative gearing and passive choices.
If you want to play chaos, the “meta” is still Essence Drain + Soul Rend + Dark Pact; Profane Ritual, despite sitting on the same cluster wheel, sees virtually no use.
Could a member of the balance team comment on whether skills that are statistically dead are monitored, and whether any chaos-centric improvements are planned? The most straightforward fix would be to give Hexblast the same cooldown bypass that Sky Serpent’s Wrath enjoys; that single change would bring Profane Ritual back into the picture and resurrect Hexblast overnight.
