poe2 endgame design philosophy is a pile of shit trinities
|
the following is a shit trinity
- bosses have many one-shot abilities because top-end builds are otherwise impossible to kill - maps have limited retries and boss entry keys are expensive to impose costs for trying - bosses reset on death so that death zerging is not an option the following is also a shit trinity - upgrade gear is extremely hard to find or craft from the ground so that the game doesn't "end" on week 1 - bosses are designed to challenge the best builds, so is balanced around the best-geared builds - progress to better gear is gated behind high tier bosses so that players are "incentivised" to try hardest content Last bumped on Dec 24, 2025, 3:26:03 AM

They literally said they are reworking endgame completely, they have done things in background but they wanted to do more so they delayed that to 0.5.
There is no point complaining about endgame when they are already reworking. | |
" This only happens to me in GGG games. Even after years of development, it's still happening to people in PoE1, what does that mean? And people are still saying things like "they're going to improve the endgame" on these forums. I think these people are GGG employees and they're constantly commenting like bots on the forums. Because it's impossible for a normal person to defend such a company model. The same things were being discussed on this forum 5 years ago, and they're still being debated today. What does this mean? Does it mean don't play the game until it's actually fun? I guess never? Neden yaşıyorsun?

" They literally said .5 is all endgame and if those same people are complaining from 5 years ago...those people need to get lives and play other games. Makes zero sense you will play a game and complain. Games are for fun mate...not having fun go do something else. |
