Corrupt biomes move while in atlas fog

While moving through the atlas, I see the corrupt nexus glow and animation in an area. I do a waystone towards it and it disappears from the atlas and moves to another place in the fog, further away.

I will try to capture screenshots, but these forums don't allow embedding of images, I have to have a host for them first.
