POE2 wont boot (not even blackscreen) but music starts playing, PC hard freeze

Hi there,
started playing a few days ago, I had this issue at the start. The game wont start, no Icon on Taskbar, no blackscreen, nothing apart from the music playing. The PC completely freezes (cant even enter task manager) - have to reboot hard through cutting power -.- Updated drivers etc, and ultimately the fix was to disable VSync through Nvidia Settings. It worked for a few days, but now the issue is there again. Ive tried the known troubleshootings through google but nothing helps. Playing through steam, dont have any other programs running apart from firefox. Any ideas how to get this fixed? Last bumped on Dec 23, 2025, 7:24:03 AM

" I had similar issues. You may try to disable your xmp profile in your bios. your ram will run a little slower but if it helps with your issue that shouldn't be too bad. Druid and new season hype - December 12th, 2025! Thanks GGG for putting in the work!

Updated Audio drivers with driver booster and game loads again.
