Chaining on permafrost bolts definitely bugged

Before this league i played frost mercenary and everything chained so nice it was so fun to look at, now it either doesnt chain or tiny pellets sometimes if it even chains, something is big wrong here pls help

Piercing projectiles only chain after they have stopped piercing, permafrost rounds gained pierce innately this league.
