Missing Vaal Temple architect medallion for +6 energy

I defeated the Architect in the Vaal Temple for the first time on my second character, but I didn't receive the Medallion.

Here's what happened:

I already had three Medallions and couldn't pick up the Architect's Medallion, so I deleted one and then picked up the Architect's Medallion. Afterwards, I remembered that one of the rare mobs had dropped a Medallion earlier. Before leaving the temple, I picked up that Medallion as well and had three again.
After leaving the temple, I ended up with the two previous Medallions plus the one from the rare mob. My temple energy is still at 6 on this character, and I don't have the Architect's Medallion in my list.

Could you please help me with this issue or tell me how I can resolve it? Thanks!
