The character does not fly over obstacles while using flame breath

1) With this skill wyvern is flying. Then why character cannot fly over the obstacles? Even Pounce let to jump over them, while flying with flame breath is not actually flying :(
2) Also why wyvern is affected by ground effects while character use flame breath, which is actually moves wyvern to the air?

Same with pounce. Can't jump over things or monsters
