Movement and attack actions

I have noticed that I can not use the mouse to both move and attack at the same time, where as other guild members use wasd or controllers can. this means they are more effective and gain more survivability as they can continuously deal damage whereas i must walk/ run up then hit. Could you please look in to this.
Note I add the move feature to the hot bar when i press the mouse left to move and then press right i stop instead of continuously walking. Also note i have not enabled stand still to fight / use skill options.

That's not true, they cannot do that. PoE only allows one action at a time, you either move or you attack.

They are possibly timing it better than you or have better mapping of the buttons they use. But they most certainly aren't moving and attacking at the same time.

In poe2 you can keep on moving while attacking with bows or casting spells while using wasd.
Also the transformation skills like rampage and the fire breathing only allow movement with wasd but not mouse and keyboard.
