Trial of chaos doesn't give ascendacy points

After a year of developement I can't believe this bug still hasn't been fixed.

Just completed a zone lvl78 Trial of chaos and at the end interacting with the ascendancy altar it still doesn't give the last 2 ascendancy points I require.

Is it because I took the rewards first, is it because I'm lvl 90? The Trial keystone definitely said that it does provide ascendancy points. This is so disheartening. https://failiem.lv/u/76pdcswa2q

So I realize I might have misunderstood something regarding the trials - to achieve the last points (7 and 8) you need to defeat the Trialmaster? My lord, all this time I was convinced this stuff is bugged.

Nevermind this thread, no bug; however, the way it's been described I would have never guessed this, especially because the ascendancy altar is just there.
