Which flask is better - or is it immaterial which one to use ?

I need a legacy flask for my build in Standard to get my cold resistance up to snuff. There are 2 flasks that would get me there. One has a lower resistance value (35%) but also has a lower reduced duration value (23%)
The other flask has a higher resistance value (37%) but a higher reduced duration value (27%), so it will not last as long (5.3 s vs 5.5s). Both have same increased effect (25%).

Both will have 70% increased effect and gains no charges during effect.
They are both the3 same price to buy so that isn't part of the decision

I will be using the flask with a mageblood of course. My question is - should I go with the one that has a higher resistance value but doesn't last as long, or the one with the lower resistance value that last slightly longer (o.2 seconds) - or should I always go with the highest resistance one since 0.2 seconds is probably immaterial. My gut says always go wit highest resistance you can get, even if it is more than you need because it never hurts to have more resistance than you need.

It is not my intention to be rude, but do you know what Mageblood does?

Go for the one with the more potent effect. Both flasks will be permanent; their durations are irrelevant. With a Mageblood equipped, there is no functional difference between a 0.5 second flask duration and a 10 minute flask duration. The difference is not insignificant, but literally non-existent.

You're not being rude, and yes I know what a Mageblood does, but I've been caught before in thinking I understand the mechanics and then finding out they don't work the way I thought (or hoped). I was basically looking for validation before I rode off and spent divines for nothing. Appreciate the response.
