why the vast disparity in map prices?
|
specifically im farming the formed and the feared with a bit of conqs
to maven it all into proper shards and end game bosses. now i will search for a map of the kind I want, and i might find prices like 2 or 3 chaos. so I go buy the map and check the guys inventory for even more maps.... regularly confused, seeing similar maps priced far higher. for example 124c for an enslaver map, compared to the enslaver map the same guy is selling for 2c. there is nothing obvious. its not a cant leech, no mana regen, damage reflect map from hell that sells for 2c. its a random map. and the maps that sell for 125c are not uber perfect 157 quant maps that have no lethal mods. i simply wont buy these maps. why are they priced this way? a shard is a shard. 20 extra quant, or zero mana regen cant be this meaningful i mean you can hit the map with a chaos orb if you dont like its mods. dont get it. This was answered in one of your other threads already.
People are completely free to price maps (or other items) however they want. It's not an indicator of how good something is or if it will sell. |

still no answer.
I figure its a trap. people are pricing a map at a few c, and hoping that the buyer will accidentally click the wrong map and instantly pay 124c for a 2 c map. apart from that? anything else? I presume I am right. I recognize that you don't like that. prove me wrong, but this time. try? |
