Lightning spear NULL pointer dereference game crash, 10+ times per map

This crash started happening within the last week. The game is effectively unplayable.

I feel like the repro occurs right around the point that lightning spear makes contact with enemies, and is more likely to occur when attacking a group of mobs such as after activating a ritual encounter or an abyss packs spawn.

I tried to reroll a sorceress and encountered the crash when casting spark as well.

I have attempted the following to fix the issue on my end:
-Rebooted (this works sometimes, haha)
-Ran PackCheck
-Deleted shader cache
-Changed just about every possible setting I could inside of the game (including changing GFX engine between dx12 and vulkan). Also turned off the engine multi-threading.
-Changed processor affinity in task manager for POE2 process
-Changed networking mode from config file between auto and lockstep
-Reinstalled the game
-Updated GFX drivers
-Installed latest OS updates
-Updated BIOS
-Looked at eventvwr and ensured I wasn't maxing out pagefile
-Wished I could hex-edit a NULL pointer check into this subroutine

The exception offset is always in the same location (for a given game version). I imagine that with debug symbols that this one would be easy enough to get a handle on as the call stack is always the same. It also looks like it's the kernel-side call to WaitForMultipleObjects that is exceptioning. Possibly a multi-thread issue waiting for events or semaphores.

Game client version: 0.4.0c

Issue was also present on 0.4.0b, but the offset was different, obviously.
