Stormborne Armor Set weapon effect not displaying after update

I am writing to ask about an issue regarding the Stormborne Armor Set (the set that changes effects based on Fire, Cold, and Lightning).
Description of the issue: Until yesterday, the elemental visual effects from the armor set were correctly applied/transferred to my equipped weapons. However, after logging in today, the weapon effects have completely disappeared, even though the armor's body effects are still active. I am playing on PC platform.
I have tried re-equipping the armor and restarting the game, but the issue persists.

This has been deemed a "bug" and was "fixed" with the hotfix. They even changed the lootbox page on the POE2 website to no longer preview the armor with the weapon effects.

Pretty upset tbh. Not sure why not many people seem to realize what happened.

I think someone should start a post about this. This becomes a pure scam since I spent A LOT OF MONEY on getting the outfit and hoping for the effect that was advertised. How can I confidently purchase anything from the future knowing that they probably would change/remove some cool effect that was recorded in official showcase video and determine them as a bug?
