Can you turn off the temporary nameplate for items when they drop?

Is there a way to turn off the nameplate of items from showing for a few seconds after they drop while still being able to see the item nameplate by holding 'alt'?

Even with 'Always Highlight' turned off, many items still show a nameplate for a few seconds when dropping. I would like to turn this off.

Context if it helps: I like to take care of the fight and then review what's on the ground after. I personally find item nameplates annoyingly distracting from the fight and great visuals of the game. I am using a visual beam effect to highlight any important items on the ground and do not need the nameplate to note something cool dropped.
