Infusion of Power not working by annointed

I currently using my amulet for infusion of power and it nor working, not sure the Megalo gem will act the same or not

It can actually work only when you consume a remnant instead of collecting, I were baited by a wrong Chinese trasnlation until I checked the original English text.
