Wife can't use captured beasts?

We equip it, capture it... toggle it on (even removed every other aura and she 100% has the spirit required and the stats required.)

any ideas? she is on ps5 if that matters.

Tried to weapon swap, tried to remove everything and re-equip it. Tried to capture a different type of best etc... still wont summon although it is toggled as on and spirit 100% was paid it is NOT a spirit issue.
