Could Called Shots please be looked at in regards to the new Marks??

This is really a head scratcher. This current called shots ability is just useless when used with voltaic and freezing mark. The interaction just feels broken and untested.

The new freezing and voltaic marks both say: "When you debuff an enemy that is marked, you lose the mark and get a 10s buff"

They also say: "When you re-apply the mark while you have the buff, you lose the buff"

Then called shots, the Ascendancy Deadeye node says, "You mark something around you automatically. Anytime you consume a mark from an enemy, it automatically marks something nearby."

Here is how this plays:
You activate called shots, you put the Mark of your choice in the skill, and enter combat.
Boom, auto-marks an enemy, mark is consumed upon debuffing the enemy, you get a 10s damage buff....then the mark AUTOMATICALLY REAPPLIES to something in radius, which makes you lose you lose the buff nearly instantly. Which means the entire process amounted to you accomplishing nothing and losing the entire benefit of the mark in the first place.

This really shouldn't work like this. The buff should persist for the full duration unless you manually cast the mark again. This current interaction makes Deadeye feel pretty awful.

That link has nothing to do with the original issue. Voltaic mark no longer triggers an explosion period. It was changed. Instead it gives a damage buff, except oh wait no it doesn't, at least not when used with Called Shots, because the buff is instantly removed when the mark is re-applied.

Would love this to be looked at, it's not exactly a bug, but it feels like a bugged interaction, or at least something that wasn't properly thought throught.
I agree with you. The whole ascendancy point is literally useless for those marks due to how they interact with each other.
