Negative Physical damage modifier on ring, wtf??

As the title says, it would seem that the damage modifier on my ring is negative as my physical damage is reduced when I equip it. I have other rings with similar weird behavior...

Anyone can explain what's going??

prob because the other item is + physical damage and not + physical damage to attacks... different mod and one gets ramped up the other does not...

That doesn't make sense. He compares having no ring to slotting in the ring, and the damage gets lower on slotting in the ring.

You likely have something that gives you damage on full life (Killer Instinct). The ring gives + strength which gives + max life, so your life is not full the moment you equip it.
