So, I was looking into buying a supporter pack this league and I was left scratching my head.
I thought it was standard practice if you pay 30 bucks you get an armor pack. No? 🤔 Why are all the armor packs locked behind the 60 bundles? For example, the Ogham supporter pack that costs 30 it includes an armor pack.
I guess I’m a bit confused on the monetization. I also feel spending 30 bucks should get you 1 armor pack 🤷♂️

You paid 30 bucks for the EA key + 300 points, and then you paid more 30 bucks to upgrade to the lord of ogham pack
By default the 30 bucks pack doesn't come with an armour set, it'd be great if it did though

Yeah, if you buy the early access for 30 you get 300 credits and access to the game. Makes sense. If you want later on to get the Ogham bundle, you spend 30 and you get 300 credits and an armor pack amongst other things. Again, makes sense.
If you get any of the Druid bundles for 30 you get 300 credits but no armor pack 🤨 I don’t think this makes much sense. Each bundle has a specific armor when you select it but it’s not available unless you spend at least 60. That’s a bit stingy imo.

There's a difference between core supporter packs (that are available for more than one league cycle) and league supporter packs.
The core supporter packs have an armour pack in every tier, but they go up to 480€. Those packs usually reset once a huge expansion drops, which before PoE2 was roughly every year.
The league supporter packs are different and u need to pay more to get the armour pack. It's been like that for a while, so I don't think GGG will change it.

If you upgrade from a core supporter pack you're basically paying 60 dollars in total, which is the tier that comes with an armour mtx
You can argue if that's good or bad, but it does make sense

I see. So, I assume the Ogham packs are core packs then?
Anyway, since we have only 3 leagues each year I think it would be a good idea moving forward for them to bolster up those league packs so anyone that enjoys the game can pay 30 each league -like a battle pass of sorts- and enjoy some goodies alongside playing the game. Because honestly, these league packs are not it right now imo.

For 30 you get access to the game and 300 credits. If you get any 30 Druid pack you get 300 credits and some random bits and bobs. Not a remotely good deal imo.

In PoE there is something like a Battlepass called "Kiracs Pass". It resets each league and u get an Armour pack when u complete it. It costs 300 points, so it is what u want basically. I'm sure GGG will implement something similar to PoE2 once the game is fully released.

Yearly supporter packs were always 60 for the 1st tier with armour, with PoE 2 release they just added a sub tier like in league packs, so you can buy into early access.
$30 is just an entry supporter pack, though has great stuff in sometimes like a pet. Set with armour is $60 but you also get the other 300 points, which tends to be useful for additional stuff to said armour like character effects, back attachments, weapon skins or whatever.

Ah, that makes sense. Hopefully they’ll add it in the future.
