witness the hooded one cure tavakai and makora

In the titled quest I have killed Tavakai the hooded one has arrived taken the spear but wont heal Makora and wont complete the quest.
Everything on the island is dead. I reset the instance and everything worked but the fact that it didnt work correctly the first time meens it is a bug. If you hadnt noticed this thread should be called sarcasm, negative replies are not the thing here. Positivity through negativity is the way to go. I've run through this instance twice. Same problem both times

Happy Boxing Day everyone, this just happened to me. It's extra annoying because I find this boss very hard and there are SO MANY CUTSCENES I have to sit through every time I restart the fight, and now that I've won I still have to sit through it all over again. :(

It seems to be happening when Tavakai and Hooded one stand in the same spot. The animations interupts each others?

Correct, it happened three times in a row for me ... all when both Tavakai and the hooded one were close to the edge of the arena. It looks like the animation that heals Makoru does not trigger when both the hooded one and Tavakai are close together. So best to try and slay Tavakai when he is away from the edge of the arena.

Just happened to me - I guess I'm going to reset the instance and attempt it again. :(

I just experienced the same issue. As stated above both Tavaki and the Hooded one are in the same spot. They are on the edge on the right hand side of where Makoru is. Guess i am running the fight again.

This happen to me, the hooded one and Tavakia stuck in the same place so nothing happen. so i restarted the instants and it work. i made sure Tavakia was no where near the alter when defeated him i hope this helps

Yep same thing they are in the top right corner of the areana. This is a supper anoying bug BTW ran the fight twice with the same results. Feels really good to get punished for having knockback in my build. But not quite as annoying is getting punished for GGG taking 3 months to respond to me after I accidentally managed to buy the same supporter pack twice at launch
