Request for official Path of Exile 2 shader cache download (manual preloading)
|
Hello GGG team,
I’m writing to ask whether it would be possible to provide an official way to download the complete Path of Exile 2 shader cache (or make it available via a cloud link) for manual preloading. Currently, shaders are compiled and downloaded on-the-fly when entering new areas or maps. Unfortunately, this causes a significant load on the CPU, which negatively impacts gameplay, especially during combat. My current setup: CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 5600 GPU – RTX 3050 CPU temperature under load reaches 75–80°C Manual downloading of a persistent game shader cache that is not cleared would significantly improve the situation and prevent unnecessary CPU load every time a new area is entered. Could I please receive a download link for such a cache and a brief instruction on where to install it? This is genuinely important. I understand that shader compilation is hardware- and driver-dependent, but even a GGG-provided baseline cache or a cloud-based optional download would be a huge improvement. Thank you for your time and for your continued work on Path of Exile 2. Kind regards, ApacheXIII#0494 Last bumped on Dec 16, 2025, 3:21:54 PM
