Ya lost me (again)

We have massive bugs introduced, crashes galore (Path of REISUB, anyone?), a league mechanic that could have been good, but lacks rewards and polish, and an endgame that is still in a very bad spot. On top of that, the build I planned out (after reading patch notes) was utterly ruined by a stupid mechanics change -perhaps on purpose... (FYI: Lightning Warp is hot garbage). It's a shame, because we all see the hard work GGG puts in. But at the end of the day, if the base game isn't enjoyable, and the league mechanic is bad, AND the game is full of bugs and crashes frequently, we can't have fun. - Get the client running stable - Get the majority of bugs introduced fixed. - Fix major bugs people have been reporting since early access launch. - Get the league mechanic working mostly bug free. - Increase rewards in the league mechanic. Minus a massive patch, I'm done with this League. Hope to see ya next time, boys. Last bumped on Dec 16, 2025, 3:36:25 PM

Always love the stealth patch notes that are either too embarrassed to list changes or immediately hotfix them after the patch releases. I read the initial patch notes release, saw there were no changes to Incinerate (the only good fire spell) and breathed a sigh of relief after having to struggle like hell to get it working last patch, but ultimately being rewarded for my efforts. Then they edited the patch notes at the last second to completely fucking destroy Incinerate for no reason, and I adjusted my expectations accordingly. I thought if I could get enough mana regen, I could still use cast on status to keep it powered.
The patch notes literally did not list the final nail in the coffin which I only found out after unlocking the spell in game- You can't generate fuel while casting it, making it completely DOA and useless. Fire was already severely underpowered and whatever skills from it are still usable get absolutely obliterated one by one with every patch. (Flame blast, Firestorm, and now Incinerate.) I quit out and uninstalled as soon as I noticed the change they made but didn't even bother to list in the notes. It's such a bad joke, man. |
