The current state of the game is just awful

There are such a ridiculous amount of issues in the game currently.

The druid is cool, and quite strong, but it is genuinely nearly as badly designed as the Huntress currently. Everything about it revolves around some annoying interaction. Wyvern is completely useless unless you have your fully charged buff up (50% extra as lightning for ALL skills including spells), and there is NO way to generate charges that does not suck hard. Eating corpses constantly is just a hassle. Executes and abilities like palm skills or "primed for stun" are ALL horrible in the entire game. There is not a single skill that isn't badly designed. Even boneshatter is bad, and it should at the very least be usable once on a monster that is already stunned.

Anyway, you have to press your Rend button before you are able to do anything else as a wyvern or you lose out on all of your damage, and on a boss you are literally just stuck standing there punching it in the face until it gets stunned so you can wing blast it, and if you accidentally STUN it, god forbid, you're stuck doing zero damage until the boss resets and you re-build the entire stun bar. (AGAIN, "primed to" is one of the worst mechanics ever made) I am not even a builder spender hater, but this is the worst implementation of builder spender I have ever seen in a video game.

All the skills are balanced around some interaction so you can't play them the way you want. You are forcing this to such a hard degree that everything just feels bad now. Want to play huntress? All damage is hidden behind parrying. Want to play sorceress? All damage is hidden behind infusions. 200% more damage on arc with infusions? This is just horrible. Skills need to be good baseline, not have 200% modifiers. Now that you made Frost Bomb apply Elemental Exposure you can't even properly play a fire or lightning build anymore because you always need to have this skill in the build. Why wouldn't you have free exposure?

The new orb tiers are also atrocious. Once you get to maps you're basically reset to zero currency. Normal regals are just so bad that you're just wasting items at this point. I have NO clue why tier 2 regals and exalts don't start dropping at the same time as tier 2 transmutes and augs. It makes zero sense at all. It is nice to be able to actually slam items without getting exclusively t40 mods constantly but PLEASE just tie tier weightings to item levels instead.

Rare mods on monsters are also almost exclusively just a net negative. Why are rares all about just being annoying and trashy? Not a single mod in the game feels like monsters are challenging or anything, its just constant annoying trash or they randomly delete you with extra crit. Infinite spamming balls or mirages with 2 second intervals is just shit gameplay, and don't get me started on "cannot recover above 50%" which is just fucking stupid. Either the mods are just there to be annoying or to force you to take a reduced crit node on the tree or something.

All maps in the game are horrible, especially in the campaign. All objectives are in some random fucking place on a huge map with no chokepoints so you're just constantly randomly walking around in a haze until you happen to come across the thing you need to find, which is often another side dungeon where you have to walk around randomly in a haze until you find something. The entire campaign experience feels completely aimless except for a small handful of maps. And don't get me started on the epic chungus xd writing that is being stealthed in to the game now. Please go back and play PoE1 and Diablo 2 and learn why the campaign worked there. It does not work at all here. Path of Exile is not an exploration survival game. Nobody likes to "explore" to find everything every single league.

The game is STILL soft crashing every 50 minutes on Nvidia cards which sure doesn't help the experience. Monsters are ridiculously imbalanced and random white mobs will just chunk you for 800 hp in tier 4 maps. You can't fix any of your gear because there is no crafting bench.

The current state and direction is just plain awful.

Its not as bad as you make it but i agree about the skill interactions.
It has very specific skill interactions.

Take Plant skills for example Druid has 2 Plant skills and Bow has 3.
Nowhere else are plant skills.

If we check the passive tree we have a couple of Nodes that buff plant skills, but all of those are in the druid area, but who uses the toxic plant bow skills mostly Pathfinder.

Then take Acolyte of Chayula. Chaos Damage can be used to leech cool.
We dont have any Chaos damage attacks that you can use to leech. So you need to convert elemental to chaos first. Thats just stupid.

You can go on with this for ages.
The problem with the game rn is that stuff doesnt fit together.
